Cat5e riser cable 1000ft comes with 8 solid pure copper wires that are tightly twisted into 4 pairs. The wires are unshielded (UTP) and are wrapped in a thick riser (CMR) jacket. This jacket is designed for vertical installations. The entire length of our Cat5e riser cable, 1000ft is packaged in 1000ft easy pull boxes. The Cat5e riser cable offers up to 1 Gbps data transmission speed at up to 55 meters with a 350 MHz bandwidth. At up to 100 meters, the Cat5e riser 1000ft can relay data at 100 Mbps.

CMR-Rated Cat5e – Safe for Vertical Installations
Communications Multipurpose Riser (CMR) rated Cat5e riser cable is designed for vertical installations. It prevents flame propagation in case of a fire hazard and has passed the vertical fire safety test. The Cat5e riser cable can be installed in elevator shafts, between floors, and inside walls.
As mentioned, it is designed for vertical installations, and it must be installed in enclosed spaces. For air handling spaces, this Cat5e riser wire is not suitable.
24 AWG Solid Bare Copper – Ideal for Fast Ethernet & PoE
The Cat5e riser copper bulk cable can be used in both residential and commercial networks. Its 100 Mbps data transfer speed over 100 meters suffices for most use cases. However, for even faster data transfer requirements, we have other cables.
Since the cable comes with 24 AWG solid bare copper conductors, it can be used for PoE, PoE+, and PoE++ applications under IEEE 802.3bt at up to 60W.
If you want to run your Power Over Ethernet devices such as IP cameras, entertainment consoles, etc., you can use the Cat5e riser pure copper 1000ft reliably to supply both power and data.
Moreover, the Cat5e riser pure copper conductors mean better signal integrity and reduced risk of the cable heating up during PoE use.
